Residential Ramp Up

Over the last couple of months we have been getting A LOT of residential customers looking for CCTV cameras. We’ve always gotten a lot of those calls but its been very steady the last few months. We’ve been busy busy busy traveling all over the tri state area getting systems deployed for some wonderful customers. I just wanted to take a moment to share some of the work we’ve been doing.

An awesome new construction home in Blackwood NJ needed a full 360 view of their property. We went with a 4MP IP PoE Dome camera system and our customer loved the way it turned out.

We went with the vinyl plates with the arm bracket on the corner of the house with no soffit or eve. Without these little touches those dome cameras would simply be screwed to the siding of the house, likely warping the vinyl. These are the little touches that make us stand out from the rest.

We’re total suckers for the camera mounting accessories. I feel like these accessories make such an aesthetic difference. Not to mention how well these seal the camera and its connections from the elements ensuring a long lasting reliable system.

We also found ourselves down the shore a couple of minutes from Atlantic City. We met up with a customer we had been planning with for a few weeks regarding a 9 camera system at their residence. This customer had been using Blink cameras for a few months but had nothing but complaints about the WiFi connection speeds. The cameras would drop off the network and buffer constantly. NJS knows the only way to get a reliable system going is by running Cat6 to each camera location.

Nothing like a hot attic in the summer time! Luckily this house was built only a year or so prior so the attic space was very clean and open.

While running our cables through the attic space I spotted something interesting with a plumbing vent. It looked odd so I had to snap a picture of it.

I sent this pic to the homeowner asking if someone may have forgot to glue up their vent! Our customer was super grateful we spotted this and glued it right up…maybe we should add home inspections to our list of skills?!

We installed our favorite doorbell camera (as usual) and I think it turned out great. We also helped remove some of the old blink cameras and wiring for the customer as well while we were running our fresh Cat6 cabling to their final resting locations.

We had a lot of fun on these jobs as we always do but we met some really really awesome people at these locations. Joe and I talk about work all of the time if you haven’t noticed but all we could talk about after completing these systems was how lucky we are for working with the people we do.
